<p>Most girls will be girls (and even some boys would love to be girls) and I have yet to hear a real girl who did not like to have dolls of her own. If she starts this early and continue on, perhaps she&#8217;ll have enough to display in her future <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.apogeecondosobe.com/" target="_blank">apogee condo south beach</a> unit! <img src='http://kidsarecrafting.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>MR5 is no different. She can&#8217;t buy one. I won&#8217;t buy one. Instead, I guided her to make one. That way, she enjoys and treasures her creation much better.</p>
<p>Actually, she made 2 sets and <span id="more-4"></span>gave them as gifts to her cousins.</p>
<p>With her own bed and pillow and even a cover, this doll was made with love and patience. Her hair was actually sewn strand by strand from the the nape to the top because she wanted the feel of real hair that can be braided and combed.</p>
<p><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/cecile.cinco/SAWAADq0WFI/AAAAAAAAE3E/1S3rSIO_e8I/IMG7868A.jpg?imgmax=720" alt="" width="389" height="292" /></p>
<p>The pillow has velcro to attach to the bed so it won&#8217;t fall off. The cover also has velcro on the sides. She thought of that. I did not inject the idea. The only thing I did was cut out the doll before she sewed it. I suggested the hair thing but she did it all the way. I just showed her how to do it.</p>
<p><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/cecile.cinco/SAWAADq0WGI/AAAAAAAAE3M/-6qUJQQRSJM/IMG7869A.jpg?imgmax=720" alt="" width="388" height="291" /></p>
<p>This was her first doll&#8230;</p>
<p><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/cecile.cinco/SAWAATq0WHI/AAAAAAAAE3U/ZPjJsaMpb24/IMG7870A.jpg?imgmax=720" alt="" width="390" height="294" /></p>
<p>&#8230;and this was the second. She improved lot. <img src='http://kidsarecrafting.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/cecile.cinco/SAWAATq0WII/AAAAAAAAE3c/gu6WfZceib4/IMG7871A.jpg?imgmax=720" alt="" width="389" height="291" /></p>

<p>Welcome to <strong>Kids Are Crafting</strong>!<a href="http://images.001369.multiply.com/image/3/photos/9/600x600/6/IMG7736A.jpg?et=XKiStYuxwTw0XIs4S52x1A&amp;nmid=87704917"><img class="alignright" style="float: right;" src="http://images.001369.multiply.com/image/3/photos/9/600x600/6/IMG7736A.jpg?et=XKiStYuxwTw0XIs4S52x1A&amp;nmid=87704917" alt="" width="243" height="182" /></a></p>
<p>I am a crafter and a mother of 3 girls. I created this blog to give them an avenue of release and an inspiration to improve and develop their crafting skills.</p>
<p>From time to time they themselves will be posting their work, with my guidance, of course. At a young age, I believe that imagination is developed through crafting.</p>
<p>This site is not for kids alone. It&#8217;s also for parents (or grandparents) or any adult who are interested in teaching kids to craft or even themselves. If the kids can do it, so can you. It&#8217;s never too late to craft. Actually, even if you&#8217;re a guy.</p>
<p>Let me introduce the crafters&#8230;I hope, someday, I can buy them <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.orlandofuntickets.com/" target="_blank">disney world tickets</a>!<span id="more-3"></span></p>
<p>Wrestley or w5 (with a small &#8216;w&#8217; as her father uses the capital &#8216;W&#8217;) is now 14, is in 2nd year high school this coming school year. The academic among the 3 but has crafting in her also.</p>
<p><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/cecile.cinco/R5g548TIDyI/AAAAAAAAEig/JRajNU4WHqU/IMG7339A.jpg?imgmax=512" alt="" width="384" height="512" /></p>
<p>Myrrh Raque, or Raqy, or MR5 is 11 and finally on her 6th grade this school year. She loves crafting. I think she&#8217;s the one who follows after my footsteps. She also draws. Something that she does that I don&#8217;t. It must be the genes from my dad.</p>
<p><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/cecile.cinco/R5g5bMTIDuI/AAAAAAAAEiA/rmHYToPAsas/IMG7331A.jpg?imgmax=720" alt="" width="442" height="330" /></p>
<p>The youngest is Esther Grace, or EG5. She&#8217;s just starting to learn how to craft as her hands are still unstable. She loves it, though. She&#8217;s 8 and going 9 this October.</p>
<p><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/cecile.cinco/R5g5xMTIDxI/AAAAAAAAEiY/pQDkMM3-7mc/IMG7338A.jpg?imgmax=512" alt="" width="384" height="512" /></p>
<p>The pictures above were taken December last year when they were making a <a href="http://globalrecycledproducts.com/2008/01/24/nescafe-sachets-turned-into-snake/" target="_blank">snake out of the Nescafe Sachets</a>.</p>
<p>This site will also be a store for items they&#8217;ve made that they like to sell. <img src='http://kidsarecrafting.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> I encourage them to CREATE so the stuff that you will see are mostly, if not all, original, and you can&#8217;t find it anywhere else.</p>
<p>The topmost picture you see are cousins. Can you spot my 3 kids? That was taken last March 20 during the UCG-Manila Church outing.</p>
