Welcome to Kids Are Crafting!

I am a crafter and a mother of 3 girls. I created this blog to give them an avenue of release and an inspiration to improve and develop their crafting skills.

From time to time they themselves will be posting their work, with my guidance, of course. At a young age, I believe that imagination is developed through crafting.

This site is not for kids alone. It’s also for parents (or grandparents) or any adult who are interested in teaching kids to craft or even themselves. If the kids can do it, so can you. It’s never too late to craft. Actually, even if you’re a guy.

Let me introduce the crafters…I hope, someday, I can buy them disney world tickets!

Wrestley or w5 (with a small ‘w’ as her father uses the capital ‘W’) is now 14, is in 2nd year high school this coming school year. The academic among the 3 but has crafting in her also.

Myrrh Raque, or Raqy, or MR5 is 11 and finally on her 6th grade this school year. She loves crafting. I think she’s the one who follows after my footsteps. She also draws. Something that she does that I don’t. It must be the genes from my dad.

The youngest is Esther Grace, or EG5. She’s just starting to learn how to craft as her hands are still unstable. She loves it, though. She’s 8 and going 9 this October.

The pictures above were taken December last year when they were making a snake out of the Nescafe Sachets.

This site will also be a store for items they’ve made that they like to sell. :) I encourage them to CREATE so the stuff that you will see are mostly, if not all, original, and you can’t find it anywhere else.

The topmost picture you see are cousins. Can you spot my 3 kids? That was taken last March 20 during the UCG-Manila Church outing.
